01 / THE HUMAN BEHIND THE PROJECTS
A little
about me.
I grew up between Beijing and Vancouver, and I’m still figuring out where I belong.
I’m a data person at heart. I use numbers to find the stories of the people and communities I care about — from immigrant-owned restaurants to questions about housing and education.
Outside of spreadsheets and Python, you’ll find me with a camera, at a debate practice, or working on a theatre production. Different ways of looking. Always more to notice.

As Debate Club vice president and team captain, I help lead a 15-member club, building cases with government data, research, and policy reports.
Stories, out loud.
I co-write and perform school productions, directed the short film Red Lock, and adapted Hamlet for the stage.
Making room for people.
From teaching Chinese culture with Dear Asian Youth to helping redesign our school uniform, I like projects that begin by listening.
